Radio Papesse

Radio Interference from Apulia, a special week devoted to Barsento Mediascape 

From June 19th to June 22nd, Radio Papesse will lend its broadcast and its tweets to Barsento Mediascape, an art residency (and much more) that brings five artists in the area bordered by Alberobello, Noci, Putignano, Castellana Grotte, Sammichele, Gioia del Colle and Turi.

Following FARM in 2012 - a project that aims at exploring patterns, tools and new languages for the development of cultural wealth, and productive environment in rural areas - Barsento Mediascape, through the new frontiers of art, communication and design, gives the territory another reading and allows to visualize it in an innovative way, creating new sensorial settings.

Considering our interest into the intersection between unusual landscape narratives and sound production, it is a great opportunity to lend our space to Barsento Mediascape and to dedicate on June 21th and 22nd part of our program (strictly freeform) to the five artists invited: AGF, Taylor Deupree, @C: Miguel Carvalhais e Pedro Tudela e Enrico Ascoli.
