Dario Fo is an Italian actor-playwright, comedian, singer, theatre director, stage designer, songwriter, painter and political campaigner, and recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Literature.

We met him in Colle Val d’Elsa where he was rehearsing for his play La Scienza del Teatro, due to be on stage these days. We talked about the Brera Academy where, as a student he met Marino Marini and Giacomo Manzù among the other professors. He talked about 1968 and about theatre as a political tool of social engagement.

The conversation is in Italian.
