During a space of three years, Taiyo Onorato & Nico Krebs traveled several months through the United States, working "on the road" on the photo series The Great Unreal.

The photographic work deals with reality and the fabrication of reality, while the geography of America is both a setting for their surreal photomontage and divertissement and a fertile ground of examination. The visual journey into the US was recently published by Patrick Frey in Zurich and the Swiss duo is now in Florence, for their first show in Italy, at the EX3 Contemporary Art Centre.
We met them in Florence where they premiere the series Caravan, Growhomes and Psycho Room.
