Minnette Vàri and Sue Williamson are two among the most prominent South African artists and among the most internationally rewarded voices. They are – together with Lorenzo Fusi, Marlene Dumas, Kendell Geers and Berni Searle – curators of .za young art from South Africa, a group show putting forward the work of a selection of young practicioners not older that thirty-five.

 

They talk about South Africa, South African artists and the big shift between their own and the latest generation born and educated after the end of apartheid and the raising of democracy.
