Alessandro Sciaraffa is a Turin based artist working primarly with sound. We met him at Artissima Fair where he presented Bell Tower, a new site specific installation produced in the context of Italian Wave, a special program presenting seven young artist – not represented by a gallery yet – to professionals and curators.
We met him to talk about his sound sculpture, born out of an anthropological research focused on our western soundscape in which the bell tolls are the sound boundries for social, political and physical spaces.
